So I am in the process of installing all my emulators on my new cab rig.And TBH,at first I was dreading the situation,as I have 52 emulators to install(to be fair,all 52 arent exactly emu's,some are single games,like sega's time traveler etc...)and the old advanced config utility made setting multiple paths a real pain.

But using the new setup wizard is making this process much less painful. :) It is so much easier,setting multiple paths is a breeze.So far all I have done is arcade emulation,but it really is much,much better.

So thanks HK,for donating your time and skills to make setting GameEX up a much simpler process!

Thanks for the kind words from pears and apples alike :lol: The Setup Wizard started out as a humble project to solve a common problem in how to make setting up a FE as easy a possible. Granted I don't think there will ever be a universal standard for setting up emulators (although wouldn't that be great?) I think the Setup Wizard takes as much paid out of the process as possible. There have been tonnes of ideas from the community gone into it and I think we really do have the best FE and setup software around. Thanks to this great community of friends and the legendary Tom I'm happy to hang around for a while if y'all are happy to have me :)

Always well-done, if not always understood, Ben! Your assistance is always appreciated and timely and I look forward to more in the future! You and Tom let me know when you are ready to tear into a new Theme Editor as I will be glad to put it through its paces!

+1. Not only is it much easier to work with, but the ability to tinker with it while in GameEx and quickly test it out. Bravo.

I fired up the setup wizard the other day from my cab and was delighted to see that...I could see it! I liked the old look for my main system, but it was virtually useless on my cab due to font issues. With the new design, I can see and use it correctly! This is a big bonus for me since I've never been able to get remote desktop working again after I took my cab apart and moved it. Now I can actually manage the system locally at least!

Even though i'm relatively new to GameEx i can appreciate all the hard work that has gone into and continues to make this by far the best and most needed piece of software needed, and the support via the forums or remote is awesome. :D
