it almost seems that is doesnt find my GameEx.ini file. Maybe it has something to do with my GameEx folder located at "C:/Gameex" and not in program files.

It is my entire log file from "./Gamex/Log/log.txt". I was also surprised it was so small

I tried to reinstall but still not working It worked when i installed 12.98 again. I attached my files gameex.ini and the log. GameEx.ini log.txt

Hello, I enabled "Custom Keyboard Control" to be able to "play/pause music" using Control left. The problem is that it toggles very fast between play and pause when the key is pressed (like if the button is not debounced). This cause the key to work about half the time as it comes back to its original states. Does anyone happens to have the same problem and is there a fix ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answers. I didn't know it was using the steam overlay and I turned it off (as I won't use it on my arcade) . I put it back and it seems to be working now. Can I customize the launch before and after options messing with the steam config files?

Hello, Have a problem with the new steam function. My steam games appear correctly (jamestown and SSFIVAE), and i can launch them fine. But after 30 seconds gameex appears on front as if i had quit the game (but the game is still running). I dont seem to be able to keep the focus on the game as gameex keeps coming back even if the game is running, Does anyone has the same issue ? Thanks in advance.

I personnaly set up my games as different emulators and put the option "treat as 1 pc game" for each one. Then I grouped all the PC game with an "Emulator Group". Like that i have a better control over the launch of each game.

It would have saved me some time, but unfortunately i already did my map file manually I'll try that next time

I tried those tools. Either i dont understand how they work (which is likely) or they don't do what i need. Anyway, i'll check that later and probably do it manually as i don't have that many roms.... I would be nice though if there was an option integrated in gameex

Thanks for the answer. I did check Map File Maker. But it doesn't do what i really want. It takes the rom name and generate a real name from it. But in demul my roms are like vs2_2k , so It cannot really get a real name out of it. Any ideas so i don't have to create map file manually ? In the meanwhile i ll check other tools...

Hello, I am trying to setup Demul on my cab. I use the Demul map file of Gameex. The problem is that GameEx shows me ALL the names that are in the Map Files even if i don't have the roms. Is there a way to just display the games/roms that i have on my computers ? Thank you in advance.

I still don't find those options I am talking about "Launch after", "launch before" but for "External Applications" (not Emulators).

Thank you. I just have a question. I am used to the old "advance configuration" tool, and I don't see in the wizard options like "Launch after", "Also launch", etc. for external applications. Can I modify that in the wizard ?
