Thanks Freq! wish I had seen product comparison...lol ah yes it is in the LAN! Idiots @ Tiger direct sent me a RECALLED MoBo,they sent me one with b2 stepping,which were recalled in march due to a degrading SATA connection,DUMMIES!xD

So I am in the process of installing all my emulators on my new cab rig.And TBH,at first I was dreading the situation,as I have 52 emulators to install(to be fair,all 52 arent exactly emu's,some are single games,like sega's time traveler etc...)and the old advanced config utility made setting multiple paths a real pain. But using the new setup wizard is making this process much less painful. It is so much easier,setting multiple paths is a breeze.So far all I have done is arcade emulation,but it really is much,much better. So thanks HK,for donating your time and skills to make setting GameEX up a much simpler process!

thanks Circo! I have been keeping up and updating all my sets to mp4 when they are available. May I humbly suggest that NES,Genesis be next?

so does anyone here emulate atari's ill fated last console? You never really here much about it (and for good reason,the jaguar sucked) but it is still a part of console history. If you do emulate the jaggy,what is your emu of choice?

are you sure you are giving it enough time to start up? sometimes DAPHNE looks like it isnt working,when actually it is just booting up

Have you scanned your roms with CLRmamepro to ensure they are the correct set that matches your mame version?sounds like a incomplete romset to me Here is how to scan\fix roms with CLRMAMEPRO

Ah I havent used win xp in over a year and a half.even the 32 bit win 7 is superior in every way,IMO,that is with xp it seemed there was always a issue,since I installed win 7 I have had 0 issues,and I have not reformatted in a year and a half

Yea the p4 is showing its age,though the last line of p4's the ones that use socket 775 arent that bad,especially the HT ones.My cab p4 is a 3.6 HT and I could run all the way up to dreamcast games on it (not all usually the less demanding ones)but everything under dreamcast runs smooth. I have been thinking of doing a classic console cab,with multiple different console controllers,instead of the usual joystick setup.it would be like a nes vs cab,the snes box cab,and the one sega made and threw a genesis in to compete with N.I have always wanted a cab to show the history of consoles UPDATE:in regards to that nifty combo MK1 board it seems someone already dumped that board "years ago" but didnt know MAME needed it! D'uh someone just dropped $320 USD on that board! D'UH READ ABOUT IT HERE

going from p4 to that in cab will be a huge step up,I do have another pc in house (core duo) but its more of a family PC,my gf,mother,father wouldnt be to happy if they went to use the PC (the few times they actually do) and find it in a old arcade cab though its crossed my mind more then a few times! once I was going to switch it with the p4,but htey would have noticed

ill try right now yes it works.with a 360 controller.but i used aldo FE to set the zinc ini TBH,zinc is so F**ked up,I really wish they would release a newer version,but that wont happen as im pretty sure that the next few mame releases will play all the games zinc does even better then zinc does

most of us on here are "WEIRD" enjoy that solid 3rd place in the ratings NBC
