  1. Phew! Well all's well that ends well eh! Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go take several shots of whiskey ... => => =>
  2. I believe what Adultery is saying is that you don't need any configuration whatsoever for this emulator. Try the following: Delete the following file: \GAMEEX\PLUGINS\DT LOADER\Settings.xml Open the configuration utility for Virtual Drive Loader configuration utility and close it again (this will creat a 'skeleton' config file so that Settings.xml exists in the plugin directory) Run SSF from GameEx usig the following command: SSF.exe [DTLOADER] If that doesn't work my last remaining suggestion would be to try one (or both) of the following command lines, both of which have been reported as being successful with running SSF from GameEx (although typically it's one or the other but not both): SSF.exe [-VIRTUALDRIVE-] -OR- SSF.exe [VIRTUALDRIVE]:\ And if none of that works, I'm pretty much officially out of ideas here. The tricky part that we're up against is that your logs and settings all look to be operational and sound. There's something preventing discs from being mounted and/or SSF from starting, but the reason just isn't readily apparent from your support files. Hopefully one of the above solutions gets you up and running. Good luck!
  3. Oops sorry man that was my bad. Need to wrap that bad boy in some double quotes since there are spaces in the directory path. This one should fly a bit better: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -mount 0, "E:\Roms\Sega Saturn\Virtua Fighter 2 (USA).bin"
  4. It goes without saying that fRequEnCy is one of my heroes around here, and helped me immensely when I was just getting started with GameEx. Here’s hoping that all the help and assistance you’ve given over the years comes back to you 3-fold on your birthday fReq! Enjoy your day man! Happy birthday as well to firebrand_X! Have a wonderful birthday gentlemen!
  5. Well ... hrm. Let's take a step back for a moment and verify that your Daemon Tools mounting command is actually working the way we hope that it is. Please open a new command prompt and run the command listed below: Start > Type Command Prompt into the Search programs and files field Run the Command Prompt program Paste in the following command: C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe -mount 0, "E:\Roms\Sega Saturn\Virtua Fighter 2 (USA).bin" Press Enter Let's be sure that the above command is actually loading disc images all on it's own. It seems like it's the mounting step where things are going a bit haywire.
  6. Man I hate to keep bugging you for assorted files, but I have to admit I'm kind of scratching my head here. What does your runitgame.bat look like? Would you mind posting the contents here? Start Menu > Program Files > GameEx > Utilities> Run Last Game > Right click on the icon, and choose "Edit"
  7. Are you relatively certain that you've configured SSF to default to your selected Daemon Tools drive? I don't have this emulator in front of me at the moment but please insure that you've done the following within the emulator itself (apologies in advance that I borrowed these instructions from an external source): Go into the Option menu and then select Option. CD Drive: Make sure the drive you plan to use to load Saturn CDs is selected here. I'm guessing you'll want to be sure you have this set as H: (or possibly I:) for your particular setup.
  8. Yeah if you're positive that you re-ran your Gamer Tag registry key you at the time that you migrated to a new machine (it's not going to hurt anything to run it again if you're not sure), my recommendation would be to contact Tom and request a new one.
  9. That's awesome cnells2000 thank you for providing some information. It makes it so much easier to see what's happening in most cases. the good news (or bad news depending on how you look at it), is that I can't see any glaring problems with the information you've provided. There is one other log that may be very valuable to troubleshooting this issue though. Could you please post the contents of your Virtual Drive Loader log as well? \GAMEEX\PLUGINS\DT LOADER\dtloader.log
  10. Heh ... not to put too fine a point on it, but your GameEx log contains that information. Start Menu > Program Files > GameEx > Utilities > Log File
  11. In addition to the files requested by Draco, it would also be helpful to turn on the debug mode in the Plugin Settings, and submit a copy of your Virtual Drive Loader log located in the following directory: \GAMEEX\PLUGINS\DT LOADER. This log should indicate if there's a problem with mounting the disc image (and hopefully what that problem is).
  12. It looks like both your drives are configured as DT rather than SCSI. Try the following: Mount:DTLite.exe -mount dt, 0,"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"andUnmount:DTLite.exe -unmount dt, 0You'll also need to configure the default drive in SSF to utilize the drive you'll be mounting images to (if you've not already done so). Also don't forget to use the Debug Mode in the Virtual Drive Loader. It will help you to identify any problems that may occur with loading your disc images.
  13. Yessir. When you run the emulator in GameEx, the [dtloader] switch is used to activate the plugin, which in turn will utilize the mount (and corresponding unmount) commands you entered into the Plugin Configuration Utility to load the disc image.
  14. The mount and unmount commands enterable via the plugin are not for your emulator commands, but rather the actual commands you want to send to DaemonTools Lite. See here for Daemon Tools LIte command line parameters. If I were to guess I'd say you'll be looking at something like Mount: DTLite.exe -mount scsi, 0,"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"and Unmount: DTLite.exe -unmount scsi, 0But that's just a guess without knowing specifically how you have Daemon Tools configured on your system (i.e virtual drive enumeration, SCSI vs DT, etc.) When in doubt turn on Debug mode in the Plugin Configuration Utility.
  15. You'll want to go to: Start > All Programs > GameEx > Plugin Manager Next you'll want to place a check in the corresponding checkbox to enable the Virtual Drive Loader plugin, but you'll also want to configure the plugin for your particular setup (this part is fairly straight forward, but if you hit any snags you can refer to the Virtual Drive Loader Project Thread for a bit of an overview)
  16. Unfortunately, that I cannot fix. It simply displays whatever your GameEx Live page displays. Interestingly I see that your GameEx Live page shows that you're running GameEx v.13.11 which I'm guessing is also not correct. Have you migrated to a different machine since signing up for a Gamer Tag? I'm guessing htat that you may need to reapply (re-run) the registry key that you received when you signed up for a Gamer Tag.
  17. I haven't played it much recently, but for a while there I went through a couple weeks in which I pretty much exclusively played Reaper on my tablet. It's fairly amazing the amount of polish and depth they were able to squeeze into an action RPG on a mobile platform, but they certainly did. I liked it so much I bought the desktop version on Steam as well (and in truth I do prefer playing it with a controller, but it's still pretty brilliant on a touch screen). I'll have to look into The Room and the Silent Age, both of which I've not tried.
  18. At high noon there's a showdown with Bowser! I like it! Great work AcidBrain.
  19. Hi GC What's the error that displays? Is it a standard "Website Not Found" 404 type of thing, or is it something different? What mobile browser are you using? Have you by any chance tried Tapatalk?
  20. Check out the Startup Video/Dir setting on the HTPC / Multimedia Settings screen in the Setup Wizard. If no video or directory has been selected for that setting then it's likely that your PC is haunted. Run.
  21. That's another great one! Insomnia is also good for similar reasons.
  22. I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of fixing it up for ya. Take a look at your signature settings to see how the proper signature formatting should look for this. Now if I could only get to the bottom of your d-fend reloaded deal ...
  23. He was also quoted in an interview as saying that he named his daughter Zelda after that Princess Zelda. Given my own fondness and personal connections to that game I always thought that was incredibly cool. I am dumb struck and saddened by this news. The man was unequivocally one of the comedic geniuses of our time, and I would say possibly the greatest improvisational comic of all time. Good night you remarkable clown prince. Oh captain, my captain! In keeping with Han's list, here are a few of my favorites (in addition to those already listed) The BirdcageDead Poets SocietyGood Morning VietnamPatch AdamsJumanjiToo many to list ...
  24. Heh, just a little nerd-bro razzing; you should hold your head high in the full confidence that you are truly elite among your gaming brethren! Your response is literally the funniest thing I read all day! Thanks for that Stigz!
  25. Perfect! And thanks for reporting back Spyhunter. I was thinking that this possibly had something to do with GhostScript but couldn't for the life of me guess where to begin. Glad to hear you got it resolved!
