  1. Searching through the FTP I found a great deal of Zaccaria content within these FTP paths: - /-PinballX-/Media/Zaccaria Pinball /-PinballX-/Other Uploads/Joyrider3774/Zaccaria Pinball Best answer is here if you cannot find images for any system on the FTP or in the PinballX repository to create your own: Thread from Joyrider: If you use the Joyrider table videos, you may want to see if there is a way to batch extract the 1st frame to png using ffmpeg - probably is but I will defer to the resident experts as I have minimal experience with the app.
  2. I get that. It is supposed to be managed by the feature already there but isn't for keyboard and dinput.
  3. The mode change would take place outside of GameEx, so no need for an enhancement or feature request. If Dinput is not working then that is a bug, which has been reported here and verified by me previously.
  4. Seems the instructions and product description are conflicting.
  5. Thanks for reporting this. I can confirm that this also occurs at least for version 18.63 as well:
  6. Go to the PinballX downloads. Click on Change Log next to the version noted and select the older version to download. Be advised that support for such an old version will be limited at best.
  7. ...and there are updated guides within the upgrade media for PinballX courtesy of @Mike_da_Spike.
  8. That is entirely up to "the one that matters" @Tom Speirs. Since the codec is not his, there may be a reason why distribution is not with the application. 🧠 Regardless, I am afraid I am out of options at the moment. Something is amiss on your system and it is not something I can replicate with mine. There are a myriad of things GameEx depends upon Windows having installed right to work (drivers, .NET, etc.) you may have to do some sleuthing in Event Viewer to see if any "events" stand out around the date/time that the error occurs. FYI - codecies (actually spelled codicies) is plural of codex which is an ancient manuscript or tome. Codecs is the correct plural for codec which is an abbreviation of Coder-Decoder.
  9. Based upon the error I found, you did and it looks like it isn’t appearing in the log any longer since you installed the codec. At least that is now ruled-out.
  10. Looking for this file - dots - 75169.mp4 Also, the LAV codecs are essential - download them, install, and let us know if it resolves the error. If not, please attach a new log.txt file so we can see what is showing.
  11. Can you attach a copy of the .mp4 file referenced in this exerpt below? 15:42:14.21 6/11/2024: Open: Failed Opening Video: c:\gameex arcade edition\themes\default - default\media\random video backgrounds\dots - 75169.mp4 Also can you confirm that you have installed the recommended LAV codecs? Thanks
  12. You already provided this - need the log.txt file right after the error. Thanks!
  13. LTNS! I do not run the Linux version but would guess that file structures would be similar to the setup within Windows.
  14. Please respond to the items in bold. Please verify from your GPU manufacturer/vendor that there are no recent updates. If there are, install them. I am not able to replicate this issue but it is imperative that we have the log.txt file from right after the error to see if there is anything noted.
  15. So this has been going on since at least late May or maybe earlier? Please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files right after the error occurs for review. Also, have there been any GPU driver updates since? I know that I've had several.
  16. Asking as I saw this on the I-Pac 4 site: Relevent to current issue for a.) confirming Xinput works and b.) as a workaround until/if Dinput can be fixed.
  17. Hiya Mike - do you think it might be a good idea to create a database thread for the various systems like Arcooda Pinball Arcade, PinballFX 1/2/3, etc. within the Apps subforum with download links to the latest version in the PinballX Repository?
  18. According to the Ipac4 page it does support Xinput. Have you looked into this? https://www.ultimarc.com/control-interfaces/i-pacs/i-pac4-board/
  19. @Tom Speirs will need to dig into this if there is an issue with DirectInput.
  20. When reporting any issues, it is recommended that you attach (no copy & paste) copies of your pinballx.ini and log,txt files. Some issues are easier to deduce the cause with these upfront, saving those providing support extra time spent requesting these files and waiting for them. Second, be prepared for requests to split unrelated issues into separate threads. Single threads with multiple issues are difficult to triage and support as well as reference by other users as a possible solution to something they encountered. Reference these guides:
  21. Is the joystick controller standard, DirectInput, or Xinput? If you have an Xbox controller that you can plug in to test Xinput, it should work without a problem - no left/right detected. There may still be issues with DirectInput or "keyboard" type controllers (i.e., inputs represent keypresses).
  22. Have you tried disabling the autohotkeys/script to see if that makes a difference? Have there been any Windows updates in the interim?
  23. When you say "still doesn't show in the gameex setup" are you suggesting you are expecting it to show in the Setup Wizard? If so, that's not how it works. The Setup Wizard is just a shell to update the gameex.ini. Everything you may want to edit can be done within a plain text editor, bypassing the the need for the Setup Wizard if you know what each entry represents. Enabling it within the gameex.ini only serves to enable the functionality desired . Does it work - no left or right movement - after changing the entry from False to True?
  24. Please upgrade to the latest version and attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files for additional support. As @Mike_da_Spike suggested it may be that your kit is insufficient to run the full version and will require the lite one, but not having these support files from the latest version of PinballX puts us at a disadvantage to triage further.
