  1. Thanks, I saw the release yesterday and wanted to test it this weekend. No direct table launch ??? Hmmm odd
  2. Awesome. Thanks @joyrider3774. I didn't checked yet, but are the same working for Pinball M ?
  3. Just a question. If your program will be closed (by terminating the program for example), will it also close the vp player and vp editor ? To avoid any open vp processes ?
  4. Properly the launcher process is closing when table is launched ? So you won't know which process to monitor? I think the tool works fine, but need some adjustments . Otherwise not usable for front end EDIT: I tested the program as well. The problem is indeed that he program launches the correct VPinball exe file and closes it self. As the the frontend doesn't have a clue which process it needs to monitor , it will return to the main screen. This needs to be addresses to the developer of the program as well. i thought Jarr3 was on this forum as well, but could not find him to include this. maybe add a post to VPU and address this issue with front end usage(think other front end should have the same issue)
  5. Strange construction indeed. It's not the answer, but how about set the system type to "other" will that help ? @Tom Speirs is this something you would take a look at it, or you feel confident that 10.8 will be fully backwards compatible and no need for external launcher ?
  6. It is unrated, but also update to latest pinballx
  7. Not 100% but think it should work
  8. Lol. Impossible. Something must have been changed. 😂 First try without joytokey and assign the exit button to your joystick. Make sure if you first disable the startup program without assigning the joykey, make sure your exit joybutton doesn't work,. If confirmed assign a joybutton to exit andexit emulator
  9. Any progress on this @tligu?
  10. Do you have this behavior recently or always have it ? If this worked before, what was changed? I see you use joytokey. Maybe thats causing an issue. PinballX can fully work with joystick and doesnt need an joytokey program. Technicly I don't see anything wrong with your setup. Esc key is assigned to exit emulator and exit pinball. Not sure if joytokey do more key presses. Only I see (but should not be this issue): you use a version of PinballX that is almost 70 releases old
  11. Nice one @scutters I really love it Here's some media as well : (create with the 'Spinning Ball' app from @scutters as well) Realdmd: PinemhiGolfChallenge_Real.mp4.c1e563c58ef6a24aa0fcbdbf608a0e56.mp4 Topper/virtual DMD PinemhiGolfChallenge.mp4.ee132d34cf44e036e73d38fea9cf7e53.mp4 Good job on the plugin mate
  12. Although you are using an old version of the plugin, I see in the log that the following path cannot be found : 'E:\vPinball\PinX\Media\Loading Images' . Does this folder exists? BTW, do you have matching video files for the tables you launch ? If you launch table 000.vpx, you need a media file called 000.xxx (avi,mp4,etc) as well Totally unrelated to this issue, but you launch visual pinball with parameter /stayinram. This is a parameter from future pinball and doesn't have any effect for Visual Pinball
  13. I'm confused now. Images are created, but not displayed ? Only 1 out of 20 ? So if you close PBX and restart, are the images ahowing, or still not? Can you post a image that is correctly created, but not displayed correctly ? What version of ffmpeg do you have in the PinballX directory?
  14. Can you post your log.txt file after you created screenshots ? Please also add your pinballx.ini Post both files as attachments
  15. Not sure what firmware I have, its from a couple of years ago. And 'if it aint broke, don't fix it'! Is dof leds working in vpinmame for. You ? Can you post your GlobalConfig_PinballX.xml as well ?
  16. The directoutput.log is from your "C:\Games\DirectOutput\Config\GlobalConfig_B2SServer.xml" not from your GlobalConfig_PinballX.xml. do you have a GlobalConfig_PinballX.xml as wel ? if not just copy create a copy of the GlobalConfig_b2sserver.xml to GlobalConfig_PinballX.xml (maybe I was unclear in my previous reply, or it was too long 😄)
  17. To answer your question : "PinballX DirectOutput Plugin does it work with Addressable LEDs?" : my answer is "Yes" I have mx leds and pf side leds as well (also undercab, but those are turned of). First, doflinx doesn't have anything to do with Pinballx. That is used mostly for Zen Pinball fx3, but not for pinballx or vpx. Try to not start Doflinx yet as it could could conflict with the dof during pinballx start (after pinballx dof is working, you can enable doflinx again). The plugin will initialize succesfully if DOF is registered and will only send the dof command to the dof dll. That part is working as well according to the logs. Main question is, whats i in the DOF log itself ? As far as I could remember, you need to have a differrent dof configxml especially for pinballx. In the dof config directory you need GlobalConfig_PinballX.xml. The xml should have a cabinetconfig file as well. This could be the same as you use for vpx, but i thought some settings should be differrent. Also a pimballxlog file will be handy, to ide rify pinballxdof issues or issues via directb2s Here's my example ; Hope it helps
  18. Can you set the logging to nightmare mode andcrerun ? This will show the complete commands of the video creation. Edit ; looks likes you have an old version of ffmpeg in pinballx directory. Can you confirm what version of ffmpeg you use ? See :
  19. Not sure what you exactly showing or where the wahed out videos appear. Looks like the mp4 and image are displayed from windows media player or vlc ? Did you record the videos yourself or downloaded them? Are they not showing correct in the vlc/media player as well ? Is pinballx showing the same as 'washed out' videos, or more washed out? Or is it during gameplay ? Sorry, for all the questions, but thats for me to understand your issue better
  20. be aware that 10.8 is still in beta and changes daily ! I run 10.8 64bit(DX) on flat and 10.8 gl 64bit (GL) on VR and both via PinballX and I don't have any issues with launching tables
  21. Good catch @scutters Freezy added this for real dmd users to use dmdext (dmddevice64.dll ) instead of pindmd.dll as xdmd.dll has some issue with real dmd's lately (you still get it?) So, best way is indeed to remove dmddevice64.dll from your pinballx directory
  22. Copy the full text including the quotes from scutters. All behind 'try:' Edit : so you have this in your command prompt (and no need to go to j:)
  23. Sorry, English is not my native language and I don't understand what you try to accomplish. Do you want to remove the PinballX DMD during Frontend ? That should be this setting : Or do you have the pinballX video during game ? Thats this settings : or in gamemanager I hope this helps, if not, can you tell me what you exactly want to change (maybe show with a video)? And sorry, it's properly because I'm Dutch that I don't understand
  24. Glad it is working now for you ! 1) not sure as I'm not using FP. I tried today with sonic pinball game, and rendering and loading is very slow. VP and fx3 is much faster, but launching a table for pinball FX is really slow as well 2) i dont know either. Not at a pc to check ftp server, but think most of the recently released tables doesn't have media on ftp. For TPA, FX3, FX and VP i try to keep the ftp up to date. With DBM you can maybe check easier whats on the ftp server.... or add a Mega link that contains media for easier import
