Are there any other Kab.net background images for other emulators like Vectrex, TI-99 ect... there are alot of emulators for MESS that I would like to use.

Yes I switched back to the latest version and it doesn't work again. The other thing happening as well is that when I am on the main menu it keeps showing under the icon a snap or avi of various emulators very wierd. it doesn't happen on my older verion which is btw 10.42. I'll stick with it until Tom can fix these gremlins.

Well I just installed an older version of GameEx and it works now. The newest version seems to be the problem.

Well I bought a new gaming PC with Windows 7 and I am trying to setup GameEx all over again and running into issues. My question is when I use the Valhala theme I setup say Atari 2600 emulator to use the ataribak image but it doesn't display it for some reason. Is there a place that enables and disables background images? I checked all over and I don't see it. Also I really wanted to use the Hybrid Blue - Widescreen theme but the every menu that has the letter A has some wierd white make in front of it. Like some letter that is cut off. any ideas?

Why is GameEx still taking almost 50 seconds to run my intro video before running GameEx the first time. WHen you close down GameEx then run it again it takes like only 10 seconds to run the video?

When I am watching a video and I adjust the volume there is a black square around the volume bars is this normal or is there a way to make the black square transparent so all you see is the bars go up or down as I adjust the volume. The black square looks kinda bad when watching the video or can this not be done. Note: It is transparent if you adjust the volume from any menu display.

Which version are you using? I am using 4.0 and have no problems at all under Windows XP in Full Screen.

Thanks for the update Tom! I wasn't upset (Brian) as I knew if I posted about the issue (Tom) would fix it as he always does. Sometimes it might take a little while that is why I asked for a older version as in it's current state it was very bad and I use GameEx everyday on my system so that is why I wanted to go back to 10.31 however I will make backups before updating for now on as you never know what can happen.

I know and I'm very dissapointed with this version right now and I looked all over to find how to disable it and there isn't an option that I see and noway to go back to 10.31 either. I was able to get older version of GameEx 10.27 installed but does anyone have the 10.31 installer so I can restore my system to the last known good version of GameEx. I deleted my GameEx 10.31 installer with 10.32 version which I know better than to do that again. Unless Tom fixes that fading issue I won't be upgrading.

We really need to be able to disable that fading effect in the new version of GameEx as it is very jerky at least on my system and I don't want that option at all in my default theme.

Hey Tom, Is there a way to disable the fade in for the default theme as I don't like it at all as it is jittery on my system and I prefer the way it was. Thanks

Oops got it to work this time put the folder in the wrong place. Had to put in the C: drive for it to work Thanks Tom

tried that Tom and I get a error. Seems like the CD needs to be in for it to work.

Ok here is my ? I have Dragon's Lair 1 & 2 and Space Ace CD package (I know it's not the best quality, but I bought the Dragon's Lair 20th Anniversary Collection CD for real cheap). Now I want to be able to run it in GameEx, but how should I go about doing this. I created an iso of the CD using Daemon Tools Lite but a little confused on how to set this up under GameEx as the iso image will autorun when mounted (not in fullscreen mode). So I know the iso works so I don't have to keep inserting the CD everytime. Any ideas??

This is the command line I use in GameEx: stella.exe -fullscreen 1 "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"

I just use the following command line in GameEx for Spectaculator: Spectaculator.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" With the usual Rom Filters being: *.tap;*.tzx;*.z80

Did that and delete games works, but the pop up box is still not fully readable like the text doesn't fit in it, but at least it works thou.

When I enable Delete Games and hit the Delete Key it appears that the little window that appears that ask if you want to delete the game is corrupt and it never lets you delete the game. Any idea?

MAMEUIFX32 0.134u3 works great! with GameEx never had any problems with it. Like Brian said you have to make sure your romsets are current with the latest builds and you have MAME setup to your needs (ex. filters, ect).

I have an Emulator Group but I have each of the emulators config to show last played, but being that they both are in an Emulator Group it will not display the last played. Is this a feature missing if you group your emulators.

I'm running GameEx on my MacPro using Boot Camp and it works great!!
