  1. I'm really looking forward to that . I'll wait and see if any bugs come up before I update though.
  2. In Fusion I'm fairly certain the controllers are set up in something like "Configuration" or something. It's the same area where you specify the paths and options relating to the different emulated systems. It's under the controller tab I think and you would then press the Define button and it should prompt you to select the buttons you wish to assign. ePSXe should just be as simple as going to the controller options and assigning them. It should work without choosing to specifically use a controller. Not familiar with the other 3 sorry. Not sure what you mean by programming escape with PJ64 either and I may have gotten some of the names of the options/menus wrong since I don't have access to them at this time. They're easy enough to find though. You may want to look at other websites for guides on usage for the specific emulators you use if the problem is with them and not GameEx .
  3. I'm using WMP11 with mine and not having that problem.
  4. I can't figure out what I've done wrong, but my videos seem to start playing (the audio anyway) before I even select them. I can then select a movie and it will play but the first instance will persist so there are 2 videos playing at once. When the video finishes or you return to the menu, GameEx just locks up and the first instance of (unprovoked) playback continues. Another thread mentions disabling audio on video snaps, but I can't find out how to do that either. I don't even use video snaps... (Found what I was looking for in the advanced config thing. I never did get why there were two config apps with almost identical options X_x.)
  5. The codecs allow you to change the options using their tray icon, which isn't much help .

Try running it normally before using GameEx. Alt+Enter full-screens it by the way, I couldn't see any other way to do it and unless you can read the garbage in the readme, it doesn't give many hints about it either X_x. Just so you know, some full-screen applications don't stretch when using Intel graphics accelerators (and I assume many other brands too), and there are settings for most cards which define whether they stretch or stay at their normal size so check that too.
  7. I was wondering if there was a way to change langauges and subtitles when playing movies? Like, if a video has two audio streams and ffdshow always picks the first one which may not be the one you need. Same goes for the subtitles. Thanks!
  8. I found that all the themes I had didn't work except the default MCE one (MCE Glossy I think). I've rolled back to the previous version for the meantime though, I have to get a theme worked up by Saturday X_x. (Copying the files from a system with the previous version resolved the issue by the way).

There's my settings anyway, using version 0.09 Alpha R4. And yes it does work .
  10. It's also wierd everyone elses have 0mb available, no? Anyway that number is completely wrong as I only have the single 512mb card .
  11. Mine started doing this too on my Vista machine . Was working fine until I tried doing some theme changes using video backgrounds. Now nothing works at all. Are you sure that's not your GPU settings doing that? I don't remember my Saturn games being like that. Fairly certain it stretches full-screen and I used it fairly recently, unless I used a different emulator. I only downloaded it to see what it was like, because when I looked a few years ago people were saying that Saturn emulation was close to impossible because of the complexity of the hardware . Worked well now though.
  13. ~Running registered GameEx under Windows XP, modified and shelled to hide all traces of Windows. ~Pentium Dual-Core E2160 ~1gb RAM ~Integrated sound + graphics (Intel GMA 945) ~70gb HD ~Flat monitor 19" TFT ~4:3 ratio ~5ms response time ~2000:1 contrast ratio ~20 buttons + 2 joysticks ~Linked to CPU via Mini-PAC ~4 external USB ports ~External volume control dial ~Control panel lifts up on a hinge revealing a keyboard and trackpad for changing settings ~Can be turned on by hitting any button
  14. Fantastic! I think that did the trick . Thanks folks. One other problem I'm having is that after shelling (no matter what program), I am unable to proplerly shutdown without loading Explorer. Is there a way around this? It wouldn't be so much of a burden normally but this machine is housed inside a cabinet which makes it a little trickier. Edit: Left it for 10-15mins and it actually does decide to turn off eventually. O_o
  15. The single thing I want out of that is to hide the cursor on logging in. Unfortunately I've tried using HideXP before and it raped my other settings, has no choice of settings (as far as I saw) and no way to undo them. I don't suppose there's a manual way to change the cursor for logging in and out? Surely it's in the registry somewhere?
  16. What I'm trying to do is change it to look like my own controls. I checked that program but don't see what it does and how it works. Not that I gave it much time mind you. When playing a MAME game it shows you the controls on a control panel image and it's pretty much useless even being there if it hasn't been implemented.
  17. I can't seem to find a clear answer to this one, but for some reason no changes I make to the control panel in the theme editor have any effect.
  18. Sorry I should have noted that these are emulated games, excluding MAME.
  19. So basically, I can't get any games to display that I add to the folder unless I manually add them to the data file. The original few I had are in there, but beyond that it seems to have stopped checking for new files for some reason. Clicking update list does nothing... Probably missing something really obvious here sorry.
