  1. I think so. We all probably have Steam game names that we want to tweak slightly. How can I request that to Tom? To think outloud...I think GameEx grabs something from Steam (I wish I knew what) and uses it to repopulate/update the two Steam files.
  2. Sigh....it didn't work. It looks like GameEx rebuilds the game list with the old undesired names. Attempt #1: I renamed all the file names in the file gameex_[PC] Valve Steam.map, saved the file and deleted the file EMU_1002.dbcacheini. When I opened GameEx and saw the list it was not updated. Then I opened the file gameex_[PC] Valve Steam.map and all of the old names that I revised were back. Also, the file EMU_1002.dbcacheini was replaced. Attempt #2: I renamed all the file names in the file gameex_[PC] Valve Steam.map, saved the file and replaced the names in the file EMU_1002.dbcacheini (and saved of course). Same results as before...When I opened GameEx and saw the list it was not updated. Then I opened the file gameex_[PC] Valve Steam.map and all of the old names that I revised were back. Also, the file EMU_1002.dbcacheini was replaced. It's great that I now know where the file locations are, but they keep getting replaced. Grrrr! Any ideas?
  3. Heyoooo! Is there a way to rename steam titles? For example, Strider is shown as "Strider /©" on my GameEx list.
  4. Yes!!! That worked perfectly. Thank you!! Now I can play Psychonauts through GameEx, woohoo!!
  5. Thanks. Would the command line be game.lnk and the working and rom paths both be the paths to the shortcut?
  6. Hi Everyone! Hopefully this is an easy problem. I've mapped a PC game to GameEx which loads, but it brings along with it around 20 extra files that are showing up on the menu. How can I set up my GameEx to not show these files (ex: EULA.exe, etc.)? Thank you!
  7. Thanks, works. I needed to hold left/right a bit more to get it to go left/right.
  8. I'm a lifetime member. It appears that I needed to hold left/right to get to navigate horizontally (as compared to pressing up/down for the vertical menus). Thank you for the follow up.
  9. It was just artwork, and it appears the games are for 18+ (borderlands, etc.). I've manually added it. Thank you so much!
  10. Hi All, One last challenge I'm facing before I've loaded everything... Only 29 of my 44 Steam games have videos/images in Gameex. It appears the missing games are those on my D:\ drive (I have some Steam games on C:/ and some on D:/. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to address so that GameEx can download the media? The games work great (cause I think Steam knows whether to go to C:\ of D:\. Thank you.
  11. HI All, I want to use the GameEx feature to create video (or image...preferably video). How can I do so? When replying please note all steps once opening gameex, so that it will be clear and repeatable. Thank you very much in advance.
  12. Hi, I can see the "<Home> <Back> and <Exit>" buttons at the top of the menu, but I can't access them. I can press up until I get to the "<Home>" button but can't go left/right to the other selections. How do I do this on a keyboard/mouse? Thanks in advance. EDIT: I see that I have to hold left/right to navigate (not press up/down). This post can be deleted.
