  1. Works great and I like the Logo feature and the cropping so all the wheel images look the same size. Thank you Tom
  2. OK I see the problem ... thanks Tom ... I do not have anything that sends me to the FTP address ... all seems to send me to the HTTP://online.gameex.com .... but clicking on your link with the FTP in front works great .... see, it was something I was missing .... sorry Thanks Tom
  3. Been playing with this a lot lately and I love it ... It works great and just as I would expect it to work. Thank you Tom!
  4. So what is the current FTP address as nothing I had before or anything I click on now takes me there? Unless I am missing something REALLY obvious it seems quite hard to find. I am a supporting member of both PinballX and GameEX ... I would think it would be easy to click on a link someplace. Thank you
  5. I have to agree with Ark as I had one PhysMod table leave the lights on but as stated that was happening in 1.85 also ... since the PhysMod exe is not an official VP release I am ok with that. The table was Theatre of Magic and it will leave the Lights on almost every time but that table also will not save the DMD position to my 3rd screen, it always resets for that table only. Thanks
  6. Both exe's work well .... again I played for almost 2 hours and maybe a dozen tables or so and all different than the ones before .... no issues that I can see with the LedWiz and lights staying on after VP exits. Thanks again Tom ... I love the support you provide.
  7. I don't know how briefly it can be as it is a little involved (time Consuming) to set up. First off do you have the tool from GGG for testing the Wiz to make sure it is hooked up correctly ... get the tool here http://www.groovygamegear.com/ledwiz.zip that program will have a LumAura Control on the right hand side that will be able to test your led's on the ports you have them installed. To make it all work with VP you need a couple of things installed first ... DOF .... get it here http://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/721-directoutput-framework-announcement/ you will also need to install B2S Server ... to get that you will need to go to the config tool and Create and account and that is done here http://vpuniverse.com/ledwiz/login.php .... after you create an account you will see a link on the home page on the right to the B2S server files. Also while there you need to configure your LedWiz for your specific ports for the toys and/or Led's you have connected save it and generate a config that will go into the tables folder of VP. (unzipped) That is a quick and dirty description .... read the Docs and you should get it no problems. .... Going to test these exe's now Thanks Tom
  8. Confirmed that this works for me also ... spent about an hour playing and had no lights left on between tables ... about 10 different games or so. Thanks Tom for hunting this one down. Now I can use My LedBlinky after exit again.
  9. Sorry Tom, I had stepped away from the pinball for a little bit to work on my MAME cabinet build .... I will give this a go tomorrow and see ... if not I will try Gamefixer's solution and see if that is it or not ... the ownership of the file has me wondering something ... Thanks for all your hard work and You will love the LedWiz and all the wonderful toys you can add with it.
  10. That one is still not shutting down the lights from the LedWiz I played for a while and the wife played for a few games ... left it sit for a while (2 hours) came back to it and went to load FunHouse and it would load the game but it was unresponsive to input or I should say very laggy>>> slow. I could put credits in but not play it would just reset the rom after I hit start .... like PBX was not releasing the rom file? Two programs trying to access and write to it? I also noticed a log in popup and sound for the online and that was very slow. Is it timing out after a few hours of Idle cab time? ....So I left PBX and just went into VP and same thing now ... I had to delete the registry entry for that game ... other games are working ok. So I tried to duplicate it and yes I can duplicate it .... I can not have the ROM attached to the DMD on that particular game in PBX. If I do it will mess up the registry every time. Sorry this is becoming a mess ... any suggestions? I am going back to the 1.87 release for now. Thanks Tom for looking into this.
  11. ok you will see in the logs posted above that the last 3 tries at loading a table end up with a vp loading screen unresponsive untill I press the exit button. That was a strange thing to happen ... I could launch the tables fine in VP but not in PBX after the first one ... I went back to the 1.87 release exe and rebooted the computer and now things are working again. It seems that if I hold the exit button for a second instead of tapping it to exit the LedWiz will shut off the lights most of the time ... but not every time.
  12. log.txtPinballX.ini so now I seem to be having a problem loading tables after the first one going to go back to the older 1.87 I have saved ... The old way of exiting a table that paused the game and gave you a menu of things you could select. What happened to pausing the game? thank you
  13. The LedWiz issue still remains ... the problem is not fixed with the attached exe. thank you
  14. I tried to get something like this going over at VPF but got no replies .... anyways here is mine to share. http://steamcommunity.com/id/les73gtx/
  15. the exact error says that "unable to retrieve size of image, please choose a different file" I have also sent Paul a PM and his reply was to ask what the is the size of the game card. I replied within one minute with the dimensions and that was over a week ago .... ... .. .
  16. Gosh randr I thought you had fixed that months ago ... I am in the same boat as the OP ... 1.85 worked flawless, now sometimes the tables will exit correctly and sometimes it will hang at black screen ...alt tab will not get me out either and ctrl, alt, del will take a while to come up when that happens ... I would have to say that about 50% of the time the ledwiz will not shut down correctly. How about the with check box for count down enabled you get a pause screen and then it says under Pause "hold button to exit" make this a 3 second countdown timer and we will have our pause back and the VP will be able to exit properly and shut down the ledwiz. If you do not enable the countdown to exit feature you get the immediate exit feature. I liked the old way in 1.85 better ... I guess now I will have to assign a different button to the pause game? As of right now I can not pause a game at all and I remember that it was a few post here before we all found the right button combo that worked properly. I really thought that the pinmame DMD would be cool but so far I am unimpressed sorry to say ... half of the games are single line or old style block letter type and do not look good on the DMD at all, and of the other half of the DMD's; 25% of those are always looking for missing balls because the table is not actually running so they do nothing for the 45 second preview I have set. This can all be fixed by me in the end I know but now I have to find the time to do it all again. I have also noticed that now there seems to be some micro stutter in the flyby videos of FX2 and also the scrolling of the tables that was also not present before and I did read in a few posts that it was noted by others as well. thanks for your time.
  17. My next project is a Mame cabinet as the wife likes to play the old school DK and Ms Pacman ... always got to find a way to slip in the toys .... lol So I will become a lifetime member once I am ready for that ... a few months I would guess. I did the basic for now. Thanks Tom for all the hard work as PinballX rules the VP cabinet world IMO.
  18. I would like to see a audio output normalization for all audio files. I have Zen and VP and a couple FP tables and I notice that the 3 systems tables have different volume levels when being previewed. So all the VP tables have a set volume then a Zen pops up and the sound is way louder ... then the FP tables seems to be the lowest volume. Thanks Tom
  19. Thanks randr, I was trying to get time to work on this but to many other things going on... was also going to use the registered version of ledblinky for an attract mode from the music files in PinballX ... I like the jukebox idea better.
  20. Strange things I guess because not a single hiccup in the last 2 days. Consider this one closed.
  21. Hmmm you know what there was a update I applied last night but I did run the cab after ... it was only for malicious software ... It has been running fine since ... I get to play off and on all day and I have exited and started pbx up again with no problems. Thanks Tom
  22. Here are the logs and config .... Same as above except it was a fresh boot for the day. I have PBx to run with windows and it ran fine for 2 cycles of the attract mode wheel then locked up ... had to ctrl, alt, del to end pbx and restart explorer ... that is when i noticed the .net in above photo ... not sure if it is related but figured I would mention it. log.txt PinballX.ini
  23. Ok PBx stopped responding after a reboot this morning ... looks like a .net problem maybe
  24. I had this happen to me last night also. I exited PX and adjusted some tables just through VP then I added a table using Game Manager and after saving and exiting Gm and closing VP I launched PX and it crashes "PinballX had caused and error and needs to close Press ok to continue." I clock ok and it sends me to desktop without a task bar. I restarted explorer and copied the log below. 00:26:20.4 3/19/2014: PinballX - Version 1.77 00:26:20.4 3/19/2014: Loading Settings 00:26:20.4 3/19/2014: Initialize Component 00:26:20.5 3/19/2014: Initialize Display 00:26:20.6 3/19/2014: Loading PlugIns 00:26:20.7 3/19/2014: Created DirectX BackGlass Window 00:26:20.7 3/19/2014: Created DirectX DMD Window 00:26:20.8 3/19/2014: Hiding Cursor 00:26:20.8 3/19/2014: Hiding Taskbar 00:26:20.8 3/19/2014: Loading Font 00:26:20.8 3/19/2014: Load Game List 00:26:20.8 3/19/2014: Loading Database: Visual Pinball 00:26:20.8 3/19/2014: Loading Database: Pinball FX2 00:26:20.9 3/19/2014: Loading Database: Mame64 00:26:20.9 3/19/2014: Loading Custom Database: Zen FX2 00:26:20.9 3/19/2014: Finding and matching artwork and videos 00:26:20.9 3/19/2014: Loading Game Statistics and Scores 00:26:22.2 3/19/2014: Initialize Audio 00:26:22.3 3/19/2014: Set Keyboard Controls 00:26:22.3 3/19/2014: Initialize Joystick 00:26:22.4 3/19/2014: No Joysticks Attached 00:26:22.4 3/19/2014: Started Any thoughts?
