  1. Hi Tom,

I just recently had my SSD fail and I need a new key to register the software.  Is there a way to get one?  I couldn't find a registration key  on my account.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Jeff

  2. Ok.. I figured it had something to do with the command line parameters.. The command line parameters are incorrect it should be: ppssppWindows64.exe --s --fullscreen "[ROMPATH]/[ROM]" You need two dashes in front of the start command, or command line arg. So in my case its the --s, not -s that is in the GameEx emulator. Once I changed the -s to --s (I added --fullscreen so it would default to fullscreen) everything started fine.
  3. I have a bit of an odd issue and I am hoping someone might know the secret sauce.. When I launch games from PPSSPP there are no issues. They load right away and I can play them fine. When I launch them through GameEx PPSSPP loads up fine, but I have to hit F8 to start the game. Is there a way to get the game to start running automatically? I have tried searching the forums, but I didn't see any posts talking about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. I was playing with the new version a bit last night and I didn't encounter any crashing. Although I didn't focus on a lot of testing because I was finishing the rewiring for my cabinet. I should have time tonight to really put it though it's paces and give you a final outline. Thanks for working on resolving the problems.
  5. Did you happen to try more than a couple of tables? I found if I did several tables it would seem to crash. Running anything under 5 it seemed to hardly ever crash. I did have it crash once after exiting a single VP table, but I didn't count that. I didn't try the in game pause. I don't have a key set up for it.
  6. Tom this one is running pretty good. I loaded a bunch of games just using FP and it did crash after several games. I then added BAM just to see how it would run and it worked fine flipping between VP and FP tables. It did eventually crash out after several tables with the usual error: 06:20:49.7 10/18/2013: Exit System Control Pressed06:20:52.2 10/18/2013: Error. FP didn't close, I had to close it manually. Although I am guessing that is because BAM was running over FP. But like I said it seemed to only crash after several tables. Included is the last log file. FP_and_VP_log.txt
  7. Ok the latest one works MUCH better. I was actually able to load multiple tables in FP before it crashed. Hide DMD/Back glass settings seemed to have no effect. It crashed after I exited the 4th table on FP. Although after running several tests it may be kind of random when it has the crash.. I was able to load through 15 tables without a crash. On a side note, it would appear that when I now exit a VP table it drops to desktop. attached are the VP and the FP log files. FP_log.txt VP_log.txt
  8. I'll be sure and run some more tests tonight when I get home. I didn't have a chance to this morning. I'll update you with the results. Thanks for the work you are putting in to resolve this issue.
  9. I didn't post one because it crashed running the same test as earlier with Future Pinball, and I had to run out of the house quickly. I didn't have much time to test. This evening I updated my NVidia drivers to the latest signed drivers from NVidia 327, from the beta drivers I had 326. I didn't try the lastest beta 331 drivers yet. I ran some further tests just now to see how things were working and it seems to work for Visual Pinball, but the moment I run a Future Pinball table it will load the table then crash out when I leave the table. The log below includes the 3 VP tables I ran and then a single FP table, and then the crash. Ran a few more tests and it seems to be fixed for Visual Pinball. I can load multiple tables with no problems and it returns to PinballX, although every once in awhile it will still crash on a VP table.. But it is no where near as common. Although it will crash on exit 100% of a FP table for me. It does seem curious that the people posting all are using Windows XP SP 3 with DX9.. 10. Same result. Still crashes.
  11. I ran some tests this morning and here are the results... Future Pinball Results: If I have "Hide DMD" and "Hide Backglass" checked PinballX will always drop to desktop after exiting the table. If I have "Hide DMD" and "Hide Backglass" unchecked PinballX let me play the table once and return to PinballX, but if I play the table again it will drop to desktop when I exit the table. I didn't have a chance to test VP this morning due to having to leave for work. I'll test it tonight when I get home and let you know the results. I have included the Future Pinball log file. log.txt
  12. I love this feature, but there is one minor thing I would love added.. I happen to name my tables the actual name of the table. When I select the table from my personal list of tables I wish it would automatically fill in the rest of the info from the database. It seems a little redundant that I then need to click the select button on the table description hit the first letter of the table then scroll through a ton of the tables to find the one with the same name it filled in from the first selection. For example if my table is named "The Simpsons" it should find the table closest to "The Simpsons" and load the info for that table. Although I usually have the exact same name that it in the database eg. "The Simpsons (Data East 1990)" which is a 100% match in the database. Just a suggestion.. Would save a click and a search for a table. Otherwise I like the feature. Thanks for the great effort you put forth.
