Mine is still minizmizing to the desktop on 1.64. Still minimizes when HyperDMD is launched after closing a VP table.

I actually call HyperDMD to run after exiting a VP table. It wasn't an issue in the past though. It does appear that now though - when HyperDMD launches after exiting any VP table it minimises PinballX

I actually have the same problem lately. But mine is random. Every now and then when i exit a VP table PinballX mimimizes to the desktop. Its driving me crazy because its so random

May i ask - what are you using for BAM? Kinect? PS3 eye? Webcam?

I figured something out today- everything works fine on my cabinet except for exiting one single VP table - Circus Voltaire. Every single time I exit Circus Voltaire it pops straight back to the windows desktops. I have to ALT+TAB back to PinballX. Very unusual. Not sure where to even begin troubleshooting this one. I'm thinking perhaps something in the table script.

Grouping for tables by manufacture/year etc. So when you call up the table menu you will see tables grouped into categories if your XML file has the fields populate Awesome feature - loving it!

Awesome. I'm almost at your level Just need to get BAM running. Currently have just one PS3 eye camera and for the life of me i cant figure BAM out. Going to have to spend some more time on this

So after many hours and much trial and error i still havent managed to get individual Pinball FX2 tables to launch directly from PinballX. In PinballX i see every single FX2 table along with the table video, wheel art and the backglass image while in PinballX. When i hot start it automatically starts PinballFX2 and goes in to the main Pinball FX2 screen. I can navigate to a table i want to play and then hit start and play the table. I can exit the table fine and when i hit the exit button it goes straight back to PinballX table selection screen. For the life of me i cant work out how to launch a table individually so when i click start on a FX2 table in PinballX it loads just that table. Can anyone shed some light or perhaps point me in the right direction.

I have the very latest BAM and that seems to have fixed my issue similar to yours. Only issue I have now is that every now and then when exiting a VP table it exits to the desktop. Very peculiar and very erratic.

I actually made the same observation - and not just performance increases on PinballX - but for majority of applications overall. I just didnt want to mention that in fear of becoming a social outcast. I actually quite enjoy Windows 8 - yeah - the interface takes some getting used to - but i find it an overall better OS.

What about the codecs with the recommended settings?

Perhaps another application loading at startup affecting your performance? Do you have the latest video card drivers? Try checking your startup programs and removing those you dont need/want.

Oh ok - that's clearer now. Guess I just gotta keep tweaking and see if I can individual tables launched from pinball directly. Thanks again HorseyHorsey

Hi. PinballX doest have coin buttons. Are you perhaps talking about Visual Pinball and/or Future Pinball running from PinballX? I had major issues with Visual Pinball and configuring the coin button. I eventually edited the VBS file in my tables folder and changed the coin button mapping using the corresponding ASCII code. Future Pinball coin button/s is configured in Future Pinball app itself

Hi - yes I have downloaded the scripts from the FTP. Oh so some people can launch tables directly and some have to navigate to the table they want to play? hmm

or and I supposed to add this to my ini? Parameters=-applaunch 226990 I'm not using steam.exe but rather calling the actual FX2 executable - would that matter?
