  1. I'm running both BloodRayne 2 and Devil May Cry 3 on my cab with my mini ipac and they work perfectly fine so I think it's your source that is not completely accurate. Stu
  2. The only 1 that springs to mind is Worms World Party, I had it going in my XP machine but you have to use a combination of PPJoy and JoyToMouse to get it working and now I can't get PPjoy working in Vistax64 so I can't use it any more, Virua Tennis 1 and 3 also require the use of PPJoy for player 2 so if your on Vista you'd best avoid them, not sure about Vista 32bit though Stu
  3. The purpose of the sticky was to find exactly what your looking for, everygame I've tried from that list work flawlessly with my ipac, a couple of them do require a bit of work but the majority of them work out of the box Stu
  4. Sorry but according to the unmamed games list here the game is unemulated so you are out of luck If no emulator can play it then GameEx can't play it either, there's nothing you can do Stu
  5. Actually that script may not work, I think I remember there being problems with GameEx receiving keystrokes from AHK, let me know Stu
  6. So you are looking to change GameEx so that it pages up and down with Ctrl-y and Ctrl-z? I'm not sure if GameEx will accept 2 keys at once and I'm not at home to test but this simple AHK script should take care of it for you Stu Paging.zip
  7. Xpadder is a fantastic piece of kit but it goes the opposite way eg. it'll change a joystick button back into a keystroke Stu
  8. Are you looking to change the paging key in GameEx? in which case it's the custominput.ini in the GameEx\CONFIG folder Or if you're looking to physically remap the page up and down keys on your keyboard your best bet is an AHK script Stu
  9. Virtua Tennis and Virtua Tennis 3 only support a keyboard for 1 of the 2 players, Sega obviously thought a keyboard was too small to be shared I'm also looking at my Worms World Party batch file which is using a combination of PPJoy and Joystick 2 Mouse to get it working in my cab though I could live without it but I don't want to have to go without Virtua Tennis My batch for Pro Evolution Soccer 6 also uses PPJoy but I don't think I ever got it working completely as I'd like Stu
  10. I'm looking for an alternative to PPJoy eg. a bit of software that will turn a keyboard into a joystick Either that or some way to get PPJoy working on Vista x64, I think it's the only thing I have left to sort out on my new system When I install it I get a message saying "Error installing new device drivers. PPJoy will not be operational. You will need to manually install the device drivers." but there is nothing showing up in device manager and if I try running PPJoy from control panel I get an error saying "Cannot open the PPJoy device driver. Please install PPJoyBus.sys first" I've also tried installing as administrator but I get the same results Cheers Stu
  11. I vote for pain in the butt ...well you are asking for it Stu
  12. This sounds a bit similar to a problem I was having, a lot of the time when I returned from a game GameEx would keep pressing whatever the last key I pressed before launching the Game. It turned out to be the Panel Viewer causing me grief, the Panel Viewer appears for 10 secs before a game launches showing you the controls but you can press any key to skip it, if I let it run for 10 secs everything would be fine but if I skipped it then when I returned to GameEx what ever key I pressed to skip Panel Viewer would be getting hammered by GameEx the only way to stop it was to batter lots of buttons Disabling Panel Viewer in the Enable/Disable Features section of the config utility sorted it out for me, might be worth a shot for you too Stu
  13. Mame runs much better in 64bit mode and Vistax64 is much better supported software and driver wise than XPx64, that's what made me choose a stripped down version of Vista for my cab With all the bells and whistles removed it runs just a smooth as XP, though I am running it on a dualcore 3.16 Stu
  14. I'm not sure if I included the uncompiled script in that thread but if you need it let me know Stu
  15. One feature I'm becoming reliant on is the new Search option in GameE, not sure if MameWah has anything like this, I love just searching for some random word and seeing what games appear on the different systems Stu
  16. That's a great partnership, Circo's movie's really add the perfect finishing touch to GameEx, I couldn't have my collections any other way, worth every penny... just wish there were such great sets for Saturn, Dreamcast and Playstation, hell, any form of snaps for those systems would be great never mind anything as fantastic as Circo's mighty fine work. Stu
  17. Opps my bad, I had extracted the rar into the PluginLCD folder in stead of the Plugin Folder Anyway that done the trick, thanks so much headkaze thought I was gonna have to re-install vista again after having spent all weekend getting everything setup the way I wanted it Stu
  18. 19. Yeah it's a vlite version of Vista and I did remove the speech component it saved a gig or something, installing those 2 files didn't fix it, still the same error, is there a Vista version I need? Do I really need this as I don't intend to use this feature of your plugin Stu
  20. After I delete the PluginLCD.ini, running the configuration doesn't re-create it for me and if I manually edit the PluginLCD.ini so that it points to "E:\Mame\Ini" it still tries to read it from "E:\Mame\" This is the log I get: 21/04/2008 16:21:47: PluginLCD 2.68 21/04/2008 16:21:47: OS: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Ultimate 21/04/2008 16:21:47: Version: 6.0.6001 21/04/2008 16:21:47: Build: 21. Yeah I've already tried ditching the LCD.ini file in the plugin folder and I also tried deleting the PluginLCD.ini file in the PluginLCD folder and also the DevicePort-Input.ini file but not joy with any of them. Stu
  22. Is there some way I can completely reset the plugin? Stu
  23. Well I did see the bit about the Mame.ini and I thought it was a bit odd as I haven't changed any folders everything in my new computer is still installed in the same folder on my E: drive, and as far as I'm concerned my mame.ini has always been in the E:\MAME\INI\ not the root of the MAME folder, I also noted that in the lcd config file it seems to think my ini should be in an INI folder so I don't know why it's looking for it in the root. Anyway I also tried moving the ini from the ini folder to the root but it made no difference to the config utility other than when it crashed the log file did't complain about the mame.ini but it still had all the other errors. Stu
  24. My controls haven't been lighting up since I moved to the new machine, thought I'd take a go at working out whats wrong, seems the buttons light up if I use the test program that came with the ledwiz but when I try to click anything LEDWiz related in your plugin it bombs with this log file: 19/04/2008 11:07:33: PluginLCD 2.68 19/04/2008 11:07:33: OS: Microsoft® Windows Vistaâ?¢ Ultimate 19/04/2008
