Hi to all! Can I ask a courtesy from you? Has anyone the necessary tools for converting the default theme (800x600), that i really like, into a 640x480 version? I've tried with ThemeEditor but it isn't possible reproducing some things (as the smart behavior of the description popup). There isn't too choice, for the owners of old arcade cabinet, among the themes available in the apposite section. Bye and thanks!

Launch a game, then set options. Do you have to set the keys for each game... they aren't so many as in mame!

Hi, thanks for the answer. I've donwloaded this mame version: http://uploaded.net/file/3lnii0kk and as i told mame keeps my highscore so i think that it's all set ok. Then i've enabled hitotext in GameEx and i've played Donkey Kong's rom via GameEx, done an highscore, but at the return in GameEx no any voice like "High Score" in my menù. It seems to me that GameEx doesn't know where find the folder or how launch HiToText; bho... Ciao!

Hi to all! I've a version of mame that supports highscore; mame keeps memory of my highscore; I've enabled highscore in the wizardsetup (mame advance settings) of gameex. And then? What do i have to do after all that?

Thanks! In the Abyss theme is in this way indeed. But i wanted to know specifically how obtain the same effect of the flickering background in the Giga_Drive_SD theme. It seems to me that there isn't an avi or mp4 file in the media folder nevertheless background is animated. Is it only a my impression that the themeeditor.exe, included in the gameex download, isnt complete? I can't understand how some themes are been made.

Other question: How can i set up a my own animated background? (anibak)

Simply, is it as if it doesn't exist....I don't understand the logical of the options...At this point is useless that i post my config file. It's all tangled!

Update: Another similar issue. I want to change the big videopreview on background in mame and so i've played with "Display Image/VIdeo List". No effects. Then i've tried to switch off "Hide Change View"; in GameEx I've changed view, i've gone out, restarted GameEx but the view is the same of the beginning... It seems to me that some features of the SetupWizard don't have any effect.
