Cant see Laserdisk games in GameEx

Hello,

I have the problem that I can not see my Laserdisk (Daphne) games in GameEx. I successfully can start e.g. Dragons Lair 2 via Daphne Loader and everything is fine. I did the tutorial here in the forum (Daphne Tutorial how to integrate Daphne :

1. Daphne is enabled in the GameEx config

2. I set the command lines

3. I enabled the game itself for Gameex

4. I updated the gamelist

...but I still do not see the game in GameEx...any help would be appreciated...

Ok, I was too stupid that I did not realize that Laserdisc games are NOT under MAME, its directly on the startup screen called "Emulated Games"...

Now I have another problem with Dragons Lair 2 : He does not accept the command line which I pasted from Daphneloader in GameEx : He just do not play the game ?? When I use the exact same line and paste it into the command line, everything is fine and he will start the game...

...but in GameEx, I will get a black screen for 3 secons and then he returns...strange...

Thats because you posted the whole command line in the gameoptions portion.

Gameex asks you your Daphne path, exe name, rom name seperatley because it builds the command when you select the game.

Check the contents of the RUNITGAME.BAT (in the gameex directory)and you will see the command gameex is running and you will see how it is doubling up.

...I managed to fix it...but what an attack to my brain !!! I should really write a new section in my document when I have time...
