Could someone help me with this. After installing GameEx on Windows Media Edition. GameEx appears in Media Centre on the PC. But it doesn't appear on the Media Centre when linked through the Xbox 360. I believe I have to use extender to display it on my tv via the 360? I have no idea how to go about this.

Hi, its not possible to run GameEx on an extender such as the XBOX 360. Not likely to be either. Sorry.

Even if it was possible the frame rate of games is too high to cope with through a network link.

Ok, thanks for the info.

It's a shame I really want to play the games and use the other Gamex features on my tv.

Out of interest I have heard of a NES emulator which works on the 360:

'Xbox 360 Working NES Emulator Through MCE' : http://www.emulation64.com/news/search/

That's an interesting hack. It's using a html page embedded with the NESCafe emulator. Because NESCafe is a java applet it can easily be embedded into an html page. To do this with Mame you would have to find a Mame emulator written in Java. ROM support would be low I would expect, but some of the earlier Mame games have probably been ported to Java.

EDIT: Check out CottAGE it is a Mame Java emu. It could probably be modified in the same vein as the NESCafe hack above.
